This policy describes the data processing performed within the mobile application Gidoma, published under the trade name Glabs325 by Ramah GUEDEGBE, sole proprietor.

2. General Principle (Offline-First)

Gidoma operates primarily locally: your usage data (inventory, tasks, history, associated photos, settings) are stored on your device.

Glabs325 does not host your Gidoma user database. We do not have direct access to these contents.

3. Data Processed and Purposes

3.1 Local Data on the Device

  • Household management data: inventory, tasks, maintenance, reminders, action logs.
  • Photos associated with inventory items.
  • Application settings (language, preferences, options).

3.2 Synchronization Family Sync (BLE)

Family Sync transfers your data directly between your devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (P2P), without an intermediary GLabs325 server.

3.3 Network and Third-Party Services

  • PocketBase: retrieval of catalog / editorial content (templates, translations, tips).
  • RevenueCat + Apple/Google: management of in-app purchases (offers, premium status, restoration).
  • Firebase Remote Config (Google): management of application parameters, including the minimum supported version.
  • Firebase Analytics (Google): aggregated usage measurement, application journeys and product events, to improve the application and its features.
  • Local Notifications: reminders and alerts generated on the device.
  • Global Push Notifications: if enabled in the future, they may be sent via push services (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification service) for product, security, maintenance, or editorial communication.

For this purpose, non-directly identifying technical data may be processed (e.g., installation/device ID, application version, platform, country/language, technical metadata).

4. Technical Permissions

  • Bluetooth: Family Sync between devices.
  • Location (iOS, BLE technical): iOS may require Bluetooth scanning authorization for Family Sync. Gidoma does not perform GPS location tracking.
  • Camera / Photo Library: adding photos to inventory and exporting as per your action.
  • Internet: retrieval of remote content and purchase services.
  • Notifications: local reminders and alerts, as well as potential global push notifications if you accept them.

5. Legal Bases (GDPR)

  • Performance of Service : main operation of the application.
  • Consent : system permissions (Bluetooth, camera, photos, notifications).
  • Legitimate Interest : security, prevention of purchase fraud, technical stability, usage measurement and product improvement.

6. Retention Periods

Local data is retained until you delete it (deletion within the app, reset, uninstallation). Payment-related data depends on the legal and contractual retention periods of Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.

Data related to purchases and subscriptions are retained for the duration necessary to provide the service, restore purchases, and manage the contractual relationship, and then for the applicable legal or contractual periods with the concerned store and, where applicable, with the subscription technical provider.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Certain service providers (notably for payments) may process data outside the EEA according to their own compliance mechanisms.

8. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and data portability, under the conditions provided by the GDPR. You can also withdraw your consent for permissions via your phone settings.

For push notifications, you can also unsubscribe via your phone settings and, where applicable, the settings offered within the application.

A complaint can be lodged with the competent authority (in France: CNIL – the French Data Protection Authority).

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures. The security of the local part also depends on the protection of your device and your system backups (iCloud/Google).

10. Minors

The application is not intended for children below the minimum age required by local app store regulations.

11. Modifications

This policy may evolve. The last updated date displayed at the top of the page will be authoritative.
