Business email

Migrate business email to Google Workspace with a planned cutover.

I review your domain setup, prepare Google Workspace and migrate your existing mailboxes with a planned cutover. A one-off service for independent professionals and small teams who want control of their business email.

Describe your migration

A migration planned and checked

  1. 01

    Review

Inventory of domains, mailboxes, aliases, message volumes and services that send email on your behalf.

  2. 02

    Setup

Domain verification, account and alias creation, DNS configuration and cutover preparation.

  3. 03

    Migration

Import of messages from the former provider, followed by a delta sync around the MX change.

  4. 04

    Checks and handover

Send and receive checks, administrator access setup and handover of the agreed information.

Authenticate your email properly

The setup covers SPF and DKIM after identifying the services that send mail for your domains. DMARC monitoring mode (p=none), with an agreed destination for aggregate reports, is included. Ongoing report analysis and any move to quarantine or reject are separate follow-up work, helping avoid blocking legitimate messages.

A defined scope

The engagement covers the agreed setup and migration, operational checks and access handover. Ongoing support, day-to-day administration, later changes and regular DMARC report monitoring are not included; they can be quoted separately.

Example engagement

For an independent professional with two domains and several mailboxes hosted at MXRoute, I took over the Cloudflare DNS zones, prepared Google Workspace, migrated messages over IMAP with follow-up syncs, then organized accounts and aliases before cutover. Sending and receiving were checked, and administrator access was handed over to the client.

Who is this for?

Independent professionals, small businesses and teams leaving an email host, taking control of their domains, or organizing several addresses and aliases in Google Workspace.

Frequently asked questions

Will my old email be kept?
The migration imports messages accessible from the old service over IMAP. The exact scope depends on the mailboxes, their condition and the access provided; this is checked before work begins.
Do DNS records need to change right away?
No. Records and senders are reviewed first. The MX cutover is planned once the new environment is ready.
Does DMARC block email?
In p=none mode, the policy requests reports without asking receivers to quarantine or reject messages. A stricter policy requires report review and confirmation of legitimate senders.
Is ongoing maintenance included?
No. The migration is a one-off service. Later support or changes can be quoted separately.

Let’s discuss your domains and current mailboxes.

Share the domains involved, your current email provider and the approximate number of mailboxes. I can define the scope before preparing a quote.
